Long Repoussé Copper Shop Sign c.1900

Superb seven feet long Arts & Crafts repoussé copper shop sign, of Scottish origin, c.1900. A single sheet of copper with the name W.J. Wishart in large capitals against a hammered ground. Within a raised border with interesting Art Nouveau details and shaped ends. On a oak board, shaped to match and with a moulded edge. Excellent original condition with two large fixing hooks on the rear.
