Satin Birch Linen Press by Heal & Son c.1880

Very handsome combination linen press by the celebrated London makers and retailers Heal & Son c.1880. Two door cupboard fitted with four sliding shelves over a chest of two short and two long drawers of graduated height. Sparkling satin birch veneers across the front and sides. Deep moulded cornice, panelled doors, turned knobs and clearly stamped Heal & Son London on the top right hand drawer front. Mahogany slides and drawer linings. Some old wood worm damage to the sides, otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Original locks and latches etc, door key supplied.
