Pair of Regency Scroll Arm Chairs c.1820

Fine pair of Regency period mahogany scroll arm chairs c.1820. Curved top rails with carved detail and roll over tops over very beautifully carved and turned rope twist stretchers. Shapely arms with elegant scrolling terminals and reeded edge. Loose seat pads recently upholstered in a black striped fabric. Note hoe the reeded edge is continued on the side and front rails and down the front of the legs. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
