Pair of French Painted Open Armchairs c.1950
Good looking pair of Louis XVI style open armchairs c.1950. Pale grey painted beechwood frames with fine guillouche carving to the front edge and acanthus leaf detail to the swept arm supports. Sprung backrests, seats and armrests upholstered in the original woven woolwork covers with brass studs to the edges. Raised on turned and fluted legs front and rear. Some old wear to the paintwork, otherwise good condition, solid and sturdy with clean covers.
Note we have a matching settee for sale also.
