Pair of Eagle Mirrors c.1900

Superb pair of polychrome wooden mirrors carved as heraldic eagles c.1900. Original 8" x 11" shield shaped mirrors with bevelled edges. With gilded coronets above the mirrors in the manner of a heraldic crest, and gripped in the gilded talons of splendid carved eagles with gold crests and beaks and red tongues. Lovely quality carving from linden wood or similar. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
