Painted Pine Chest of Drawers c.1860

Mid 19th.c. pine chest of drawers retaining the original painted finish. Chest of two short and three long drawers of graduated height. Lovely 'scumbled' paint finish designed to resemble pale oak with further painted detail to imitate satinwood crossbanding and ebony stringing around the edges of the top and the drawer fronts. Large white porcelain drawer knobs. Some minor wear to the paintwork, otherwise very good condition. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
