Bow Front Chest of Drawers c.1830
Handsome early 19th.c. mahogany bow front chest of drawers c.1830. Well figured top with a strung inlaid and crossbanded edge. Over four long drawers of graduated height. Matched veneers to the drawer fronts, cockbeaded edges and the original large brass knobs. Astragal moulding around the base over a shaped apron and slightly flared legs to the front and sides. Retailers badge to the top drawer for Ovens & Son of Cirencester. Minor wear to the veneers and small repairs to the front corners of the top. Generally excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
