Satin Birch Chest of Drawers with Dressing Table Top c.1880

Late 19th.c. English dressing table chest of drawers in satin birch c.1880. Original 15½" x 25" bevelled mirror within a moulded frame, angle adjustable on turned supports with shaped and carved brackets and two small drawers. Over a chest of two short and two long drawers of graduated height. Solid birch top with particularly attractive satin grain continued on the drawer fronts which also retain the original brass handles. Solid birch sides and a moulded and crossbanded veneered plinth. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
