Painted Corner Cabinet c.1780

Delightful little late 18th.c. corner cabinet with original paintwork c.1780. Small bow fronted corner cupboard with two doors fitted inside with three shelves (the top shelf with a concave edge to allow for taller items on the shelf below). Original paintwork featuring a fabulous Classical or Biblical scene hand painted in naive style across the door fronts. Flat top, moulded cornice and base trim, raised on a later plinth to stand on the floor as a corner pedestal. Presented as found with some obvious wear to the paintwork and two replacement hinges. Original lock and key.
