Marble Top Commode c.1960

Very smart Louis XVI style mahogany and marble top chest of drawers c.1960. Particularly well figured marble top with rounded corners and a moulded edge, with an flush mahogany strip along the back edge. Over three short drawers and two long drawers with brass handles and brass mouldings to the drawer fronts. Brass acanthus leaf mounts to the top corners of the cabinet over reeded front stiles. Further brass mouldings to the side panels. Raised on slim tapering legs with reeded detail, brass collars and feet front and rear. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
