Smart Louis XVI style mahogany bureau plat or writing desk c.1960. 53" x 29" top with tooled faux green leather work surface and a brass moulded edge. With 13" slides drawing out from both ends to afford extra work space. Three drawers with brass handles and brass mouldings to the drawer fronts. Further brass mouldings to the sides and rear, polished all round. Raised on fluted turned and papering legs with brass mounts to the tops and feet. Repair to the brass edge at the rear of the top. Otherwise very good colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Key supplied to work all three drawers.
