Large Globe on Stand

Good looking floor standing globe c.1980. 16" diameter globe by the American maker Replogle printed in colour and showing hundreds of cities, great mountains, degrees of latitude and longitude, the International Date Line, the Tropics of Cancer and Capricorn, the Arctic and Antarctic circles etc. Rotating and also angle adjustable on a brass gimble so it can be viewed from any angle. Raised on a turned oak column with weighted base for stability and tree turned feet. Very good condition, base has been cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
