Large Gilded Overmantle Mirror c.1910

Beautiful Edwardian era gilded overmantle mirror c.1910. 37" x 46½" mirror plate with concave curved top corners within a gilded frame. Topped with a pierced Classical frieze in high relief featuring a floral garland over a torch and a quiver of arrows, with sprigs of laurel to each side. Urn shaped finials to the top corners over acanthus detail. Bands of fine moulded detail to the front of the frame, straight bottom edge to sit over a fireplace. Excellent condition with bright gilding, original mirror plate and backboards.
