Large Carved Oak Mirror c.1890

Splendid late 19th.c. carved oak mirror c.1890. Original 34" x 44" mirror plate within a superb oak frame. Carved with 17th.c. style carved grotesque beasts either side of a red and gold heraldic shield below a frieze of Gothic arches. Flanked with twist carved half columns with acanthus capitals and bases with gold highlighted moulding. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
