Tall Gothic Oak Bookcase c.1910

Very impressive Gothic Revival oak bookcase c.1910. Standing 100" tall. Three door glazed bookcase top with lovely hand blown green glass panels to prevent sunlight fading the contents. Fitted inside with three adjustable shelves to each section (internal depth 7½"). Over a deeper base with two drawers and three cupboards, also with adjustable shelves inside (depth 13"). Superb crenelated cornice with carved detail over a frieze of blind quatrefoil tracery. The tracery is repeated on the drawer fronts with beautifully carved linen fold panels to the lower doors. Fabulous Gothic pattern steel strap hinges and escutcheon plates top and bottom, note the red leather backing used behind those on the base. Oak panelled sides with chamfered edges to the frame and the feet. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied.
The top can be removed from the base and separates into flat sections for delivery.
