Gilded Wall Mirror c.1860

Handsome mid 19th.c. gilded wall mirror c.1860. Original 23" x 31" mirror plate within a carved and gilded wooden frame with moulded gesso detail at the corners. Topped with a gesso work floral spray and with acanthus leaf detail extending down from the bottom corners. Original gilding, worn and rubbed through in places to reveal the red ground below. Obvious tarnish to the mirror, which could be replaced if preferred. Otherwise good condition.
