Georgian Mahogany Linen Press c.1800

Very handsome Georgian mahogany linen press c.1800. Two door cupboard top fitted with six large sliding shelves on a separate base with two short and two long drawers of graduated height. Slim moulded cornice with carved Greek key detail. Matched flame mahogany door panels with raised mouldings, a crossbanded surround and brass door trim. All laid onto solid mahogany groundwork. Cockbeaded drawer fronts with the original brass sawn neck handles. Raised on the original tall bracket feet front and rear. Superior quality with solid mahogany sides and drawer linings. With a slight twist to the top right hand corner of the right hand door. Otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
