Georgian Cellarette c.1810

George III mahogany cellarette c.1810. Domed top opening to reveal a baize lined interior fitted with dividers for 12 bottles (internal height 12" plus the lid). Mahogany veneers, particularly well figured on the lid which also features an inlaid detail at the centre and corners and inlaid stringing to the edges. The front also features a repeat of the central lozenge. Good quality brass carry handles at the sides. Ogee moulded base trim, crossbanded apron and short moulded legs with small ceramic castors. Generally very good condition with old wear to the lid. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
