Pair of splendid 19th.c. copper coal scuttles c.1880. Ideal for coal, logs and kindling (they even work well as magazine tidies). Scoop shaped scuttles with hinged hoop handles at the top and a nicely shaped grip in brass at the rear, both stamped with the number 16. Raised on conical bases. Old soldered repair at the inside rear on one scuttle. Otherwise excellent original condition.
