Faux Bamboo Wardrobe c.1890

Late 19th.c. faux bamboo pine wardrobe c.1890. Single door wardrobe with a long mirror, fitted inside with three adjustable shelves (internal depth 17"), over a single drawer in the base. In pine with simulated bamboo decoration to the cornice, door and drawer front reflecting the fashion for Japanese art and design in the period. The front stiles are also turned to imitate bamboo and the decoration continues on the sides. Original turned drawer knobs. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied.
Note this wardrobe can be easily disassembled for delivery - ideal for rooms with awkward access.
