Very attractive gilt framed Dutch historical genre painting in oil on canvas c.1930. 17th.c. style scene of a girl in traditional dress and clogs carrying freshly cut hay in her apron for a group of lively goats and chickens in a barn. With a glimpse of the farmyard and blue sky through the open door behind her. Well painted with confident brushwork in oils on canvas (21" x 25½"). Excellent condition, presented in an impressive deep moulded and gilded wooden frame.
