Dutch Carved Oak Cupboard c.1880

Useful 17th.c. style Dutch carved oak cupboard c.1880. Two door top fitted with two small drawers, over a larger two door cupboard base fitted with a single shelf inside (internal depth 14"). Flat top with a broad overhanging and moulded cornice over a frieze of carved roundels, also continued at the sides. Small carved door panels within moulded surrounds and fluted outer edges. The doors flanked with broad fluted pilasters at the sides with half turned spindles, repeated at the centre with the spindle as a cover for the top keyhole. Moulded base trim and raised on unusually large sack bottle shaped turned front feet. Panelled oak sides, oak shelves, back and floor boards. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied.
