Bow Front Mahogany Chest of Drawers c.1830

Large early 19th.c. mahogany bow front chest of drawers c.1830. Well figured mahogany veneered top with a moulded edge. With a row of three small glove drawers above two short drawers and three long drawers of graduated height. Crossbanded drawer fronts to the top drawers, the centre one also having an inlaid strung border. Matched veneers to the larger drawer fronts, with cockbeaded edges. All the drawers retain their original brass handles and escutcheons. Solid mahogany drawer sides. Applied moulding around the bottom edge. Shaped and crossbanded apron and feet to the front and sides. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
