Pair of Bombe Marquetry Inlaid Bedside Cabinets

Very smart pair of French marble top side tables c.1960. Ideal as bedside cabinets of course or as lamp tables either end of a couch perhaps. Thick marble tops with serpentine shaped and moulded edges. Over bombe shaped cabinets with three small oak lined drawers. Symmetrically arranged tulipwood veneers with inlaid floral pattern marquetry detail to the drawer fronts and sides. Cast brass handles, mounts and front feet. Some earlier repairs to the veneers to the front right leg and rear right hand side on one of the cabinets. Otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
