Walnut Pedestal Desk c.1910
Edwardian walnut pedestal desk c.1910. 48" x 26½" top with a tooled read leather work surface and moulded edge over three drawers. Raised on twin pedestals each with three drawers of graduated depth either side of a good sized kneehole (width 18", height 24"). Raised and fielded drawer fronts retaining the original heavy brass handles and quality locks. Fluted uprights either side of the drawers and raised on a moulded plinth with original ceramic castors below. Walnut sides and rear, mahogany drawer linings. Quiet a bit of old surface wear typical of use. Otherwise good colour and condition, solid and sturdy, recently fitted with a new leather skiver. Key supplied.
