Georgian Mahogany Bow Front Sideboard c.1810

Very elegant George III mahogany sideboard c.1810. Bow fronted with a small centre drawer and taller drawers to each side with their original dividers for wine bottles (fitted for two bottles in the left hand side, four in the right). Plus a small lockable compartment in the rear left hand side of the piece. Well figured top with a satinwood strung and rosewood crossbanded edge. Matched flame mahogany veneers to the drawer fronts, also with satinwood stringing and particularly good quality brass lion’s mask handles. Arched apron below the middle drawer and raised on tapering square legs with spade feet. Solid mahogany sides and oak drawer linings. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
