Cast Iron Fern & Blackberry Garden Bench c.1890

Late 19th.c. cast iron fern & blackberry pattern garden bench in the manner of Coalbrookdale c.1890. Very well cast back and ends with a dense pattern of scrolling ferns and blackberry leaves and fruit. Slatted wooden seat supported with iron stretchers joining the centre of the seat to the bench ends. Overpainted in white with the blackberries in black. In worn but very good useable condition, solid and sturdy.
