Bronze Art Deco Sculpture of Seabirds c.1930

Superb bronze sculpture of seabirds in flight over the sea c.1930. Two terns with their distinctive long forked tails dive toward the waves. Clever counterbalanced design so the birds appear unsupported over the wave. Cast in bronze with a green painted surface to the water. Presented on a 21" x 7½" dark green and white oval marble base. Very slight bend to the beak of the left hand bird and some scratches to the right hand wing of the other one. Otherwise excellent condition.
