Small Chinoiserie Bureau c.1930

Neat little Chinoiserie style writing bureau c.1930. Just over 30" wide. Open the fall to reveal the original tan leather work surface and a fitted interior of pigeon holes and two small stationery drawers. Fall and drawer fronts decorated with Oriental scenes in raised and gilded lacquerwork and gold paint against the black ground. Further painted decoration featuring flowers and birds to the sides. Raised on cabriole legs with pad feet and painted decoration to the knees. Very good condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
