French Empire Desk Chair c.1820

Superb early 19th.c. French Empire mahogany and leather desk armchair c.1820. Low curved backrest with a roll-over top and arms fabulous scrolling acanthus carved supports. Over a generously padded seat freshly upholstered in red leather. Mahogany veneered apron below the seat and raised on carved front legs, the rear legs swept backwards for stability. Some minor repairs, generally excellent colour and condition. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
