Mahogany Pembroke Side Table c.1830
Neat little early 19th.c. mahogany Pembroke side table c.1830. Solid mahogany top with two folding leaves held open on nicely shaped and hinged mahogany loafers. With a half length top drawer on both sides and a full length drawer below at one end (with a matching dummy drawer front at the other). Flame mahogany veneered drawer fronts with cockbeaded edges and turned knobs. Mahogany drawer linings with a felt lining fabric applied inside. On a turned column over a shaped and crossbanded plinth raised on swept legs with brass toe castors. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
