Oak Kitchen Dresser Base c.1860

Very useful and superb quality mid 19th.c. oak kitchen dresser base c.1860. Two plank top with rounded front corners and a deep edge moulding. Three drawers across the top over a central bank of three more drawers of graduated height, flanked with cupboard to either side, both fitted with a single shelf inside (internal depth 19"). Note the attractive shaped detail to the front of the shelves. Solid oak drawer fronts with cockbeaded edges and large turned knobs, elm drawer linings. Solid oak cupboard door panels within a moulded surround. Moulded edge around the base repeated from the top and raised on low turned bun feet front and rear. Solid oak sides and elm backboards. Typically the elm elements have wood worm holes but these have been checked and treated. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
