Fine Edwardian cased taxidermy otter by George Cooke of Shrewsbury c.1910. Large otter presented on simulated rocks with rushes and mosses against a painted sky background. Good quality taxidermy with a snarling face and glass eyes. Quality ebonised wooden case with glazed front and sides and a moulded plinth. Clipped paper label on the rear on the case. Very good condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
