Art Deco Bureau Plat c.1930

Stylish Art Deco desk or bureau plat c.1930. 49" x 25½ desk top with a dark green tooled leather work surface. Over three lockable drawers, with a fitted interior to the right hand drawer. The overhanging drawer fronts form a wave shaped apron with attractive carved detail between the drawers, all repeated at the rear of the desk. Unusually figured veneers to each side and projecting corners with moulded roundels over reeded detail. Raised on turned and tapering legs. Some wear and repair to the veneers and minor damage to the tops of the projecting corners. Generally very good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
