Small Bombe Commode c.1900

Lovely little French marble top bombe commode c.1900. Just 36" wide. Inch thick rouge griotte marble top with serpentine shaped and moulded edges to the front and sides. Over a bombe shaped commode with two oak lined drawers. Tulip and kingwood veneers with rosewood crossbanding to the drawer fronts. Large brass handles and escutcheon plates and decorative brass mounts to the shoulders, apron and front feet. Some wear and repair to the veneers, most obvious on the drawer fronts. Otherwise very good condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
