Louis XVI Style Parquetry Side Cabinet c.1930

Good quality French Louis XVI style marble top side cabinet c.1930. Original 1¼" thick marble top with projecting corners and a moulded edge. Over one long drawer and a two door cupboard fitted with a single shelf inside (internal depth 15½"). Beautiful parquetry work veneers across the piece with crossbanded edges and an inlaid frieze to the drawer front also continued on the sides. Brass escutcheons and large mounts to the shoulders and the centre of the apron below the doors. Raised on short tapering square legs, also veneered and crossbanded to match and with brass mounts and feet at the front and rear. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied for the drawer and cupboard.
