Small George III Mahogany Chest of Drawers c.1800

Charming little George III mahogany chest of drawers c.1800. Unusual small size, just 35½" wide. Mahogany veneered top with a reeded edge moulding. Over four long oak lined drawers of graduated height. With cockbeaded edges and the original brass handles with a lovely fruit basket decoration at the centre of the backplates. Thumb moulded trim around the base and raised on shaped bracket feet at the front and sides. Some old marks and wear to the top and damage to one of the backplates. Otherwise very good condition with particularly nice mellow colour. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
