Large Gilt Frame Mirror c.1870

Large late 19th.c. gilt mirror c.1870. Original 33" x 57" mirror plate within a broad gilded frame with distinctive rippled surface. Original gilding attractively worn to reveal the red ground and under surface. Very good condition with only minor tarnish to the plate. Original backboards. Big enough to stand on the floor as a dressing mirror or could be hung either landscape or portrait aspect.
