Set of Six Rosewood Dining Chairs c.1830

Set of six early 19th.c. rosewood dining chairs c.1830. Curved solid rosewood cresting rails and back stretchers with a padded backrest. Loose seat pads (seat height 19") over a veneered apron with turned roundels above the legs. Backrests and seats upholstered in a green flatweave with gold tree motif. Turned, tapering and segmented front legs in solid rosewood. Solid rosewood side and rear stiles. Some variation in colour to the timber but excellent condition, solid and sturdy with clean covers. Frames have been cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
