Welsh Oak Dresser Base c.1780

Late 18th.c. Welsh oak open dresser base c.1780. Two plank top with an applied edge to the underside. Over three drawers with brass handles and escutcheons and heavy oak and elm drawer linings. Very attractively shaped apron to the front below the drawers. Raised on tapering square stiles. Oak sides and backboard. Damage to one backplate and one replacement escutcheon. Otherwise excellent condition and particularly good colour. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
