Walnut Biedermeier Bookcase c.1860

Mid 19th.c. walnut Biedermeier style bookcase c.1860. Two glazed doors with blind panels in the base. Fitted inside with three adjustable shelves (internal depth 13"). Highly figured honey-coloured walnut veneers across the front and sides laid onto solid pine groundwork. Flared cornice, criss-cross glazing bars, ebony inlaid escutcheons. Raised on a square plinth. Excellent condition with original steel door latches, lock and key. Minor repairs to the veneers, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
