Welsh Dresser with Open Rack & Potboard c.1810
George III Welsh potboard dresser and rack, South Wales c.1810. Open back plate rack with and moulded cornice overt three shelves, each with a groove to hold plates. Base with a split level top (plate groove to the upper level) and nicely shaped shoes, over three drawers. Moulded edges to the drawer fronts and Georgian pattern brass handles with pierced backplates. With an attractively shaped apron below the drawers, raised on four lovely turned front legs joined to the chamfered rear stiles with an open potboard display shelf with oak boards. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
