Welsh Oak Country Hepplewhite Armchair c.1800
Delightful George III Welsh oak armchair c.1800. Country vernacular interpretation of a Hepplewhite chair. Arched top rail, attractive pierced backsplat and shaped arms with curving supports. Over a board seat (height 17") raised on tapering front legs joined with stretchers at the front, sides and rear. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
