Walnut Kneehole Desk c.1910
Very smart kneehole desk in walnut c.1910. 55" x 31" top with a later bottle green baize writing surface over three drawers and with matching 12" leaves drawing out from both ends. Raised on twin three drawer pedestals either side of a good sized kneehole (width 20½", height 24¼") covered with a panel at the rear, allowing the desk to stand in the centre of a room. Moulded drawer fronts with symmetrically arranged walnut veneers on solid walnut groundwork, oak drawer sides. Fluted pilasters either side of the drawers and decorative double mouldings around the plinth. Note how the design continues on the back of the desk which is moulded, panelled and polished to match. Walnut veneered sides and back panels. Raised on turned feet front and rear. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied.
Note the desk can be dismantled for delivery.
