Walnut Gueridon Centre Table c.1830

Superb early 19th.c. French marble top centre table or gueridon c.1830. Original 39″ diameter top in well figured grey marble, the edge moulded with a border of concentric rings designed to stop spilt liquids from running over the sides. Slim walnut veneered apron with a bead moulding around the bottom edge. Splendid turned and reeded bulbous pedestal raised on good Empire style tripod legs carved with acanthus leaves scrolling feet with original wooden wheel castors below. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
