Walnut Console Table c.1860

Mid 19th.c. walnut console table c.1860. Nicely figured walnut veneered top with a deep moulded edge. Over a single long drawer in the frieze below with a crossbanded drawer front. Cabriole front legs carved with acanthus leaves and flower garlands at top and a scrolling acanthus leaf at the foot. Flat column rear legs with moulded detail. On a shaped open plinth or display shelf raised on carved claw feet. Some minor marks and repairs to the veneers around the base. Otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
