Vintage Kneehole Desk c.1960.

Good quality mid 20th.c. mahogany kneehole desk c.1960. 51″ x 30″ desk top with an black vinyl inlaid work surface and moulded edge over three drawers. On twin two drawer pedestals, note the deeper upper drawer opening on metal runners, either side of a good sized kneehole (height 24½”). Original brass handles. Panelled and polished on all sides and the rear and raised on an ebonised plinth. Hardwood drawer linings and original maker’s label for H.Baldock & Sons of Liverpool in the top right hand drawer. Some impressed marks to the work surface, otherwise excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Please note though the base is in one piece the top does lift off for delivery.
