Very Small Walnut Console Table c.1860

Charming little mid 19th.c. walnut console table c.1860. Just 23½" wide. Symmetrically arrange walnut bookleaf veneers to the top with a deep moulded edge. Over a single drawer in the apron with a shaped front continued at the side. Curving front supports, tapering in thickness as they sweep back to meet the rear stiles. Shaped brackets with carved palmate detail raised on a plinth with cupid's bow front edge, also veneered to match. Some minor wear, generally excellent condition and lovely honey colour timber. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
