Mahogany Console Table c.1860

Handsome mid 19th.c. mahogany console table c.1860. Highly figured flame mahogany veneers laid in a symmetrical pattern on the top. Over a moulded frieze with oak lined glove drawers extending from each end, an unusual feature. Raised on remarkable S shaped supports with carved roundels and acanthus decoration. Note the delightful little carved feet front and rear at the base of the supports. Open plinth, veneered to match and with a concave front edge. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied for both drawers.
