Square Chinese Urn Stand c.1900

Unusual square top Chinese carved hardwood urn stand or side table c.1900. 12½" pink marble top within a hardwood frame with bead moulded edge. Carved frieze to each side featuring bats (symbol of blessings and good fortune) over a pierced floral carved apron. Square legs each carved with a flower running the length and terminating with ball and claw feet. With a useful shelf between the legs which would appear to be a later addition. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
